Concept: Just like a public school, but only for Cardistry.
Sketch
We see Robert preparing to go to school. His mother asks him if he has packed all his school books. We see shots of him having taken a lot of playing cards. Close up shot on the boy's face, smiling: Yes, mother. At this point the spectator thinks the boy is lying.
IN THE BUS. The boy is seen reading a deck of cards. The other ones, from around him, are laughing and pointing his finger at him. We see the other kids fiddling with cards, making cuts, performing magic routines.
AT SCHOOL. Everyone is seated at his bench. The professor starts explaining basic arithmetic, but he does so through the use of cards.
The philosophy professor explains the cardistry philosophy of the philosophers like Tobias Levin, Zach Mueller, Jaspas or Ho.
SPORTS CLASS: Small 20 sec cardistry routine of the professor performing his "stretch-out". He yells out to the others to pay very close attention to their stretch out, or else their fingers will be sore. We see that the SPORTS class consists of the children practicing their fans, aerials, cuts and iso's.
The sketch culminates with the boy being taken home by his mother. His mother asks how school was. The boy smiles and starts telling her about cards and (the dialogue fades out as we zoom away from the car).
What other classes would you see being portrayed in a Cardistry way?
