Concept
Each key on the keyboard is assigned an action with a pack of cards.
Sketch
In this world, a lot of artists have resorted to utilizing digital media for all of their performances. Painters no longer paint with their hands but rather, through the use of keypads, manipulate a hand that does what they tell it to do; dancers no longer dance with their body, but rather use a keyboard to tell a humanoid how to move - this is all possible due to the Henctor Group who have shown the infinite possibilities of what one can do when the human is stripped of all limitations and is allowed to express the full potential of his creativity through a humanoid instead.
To combat this, traditional artists from around the globe have gathered at the Yearly Art Battle Competition, which happens in Tokyo, to have a fight against these digital users.
The story follows Andrei, a cardist, who is there to see the competition. During the event, he witnesses the tense battle these artists are having. He takes no sides in this war. Andrei is there to enjoy the show. But, when the traditional Cardist on stage starts getting beaten by the digital user through some trickery, Andrei runs on stage to take on the battle for himself.
Ideas
You can take this the serious way, or you can have fun with the idea. For example, you can imagine this kind of scenario being told between two kids, who are playing with cards or it can be a story a dad is telling his kid before bedtime or something that a teacher is talking about over a campfire.
Depending on what you go with, how you execute the idea will come afterwards. Obviously, you can invest a lot of time and money in this, in post-production and production, or you could go the cheap way and use more creative ways to tell the story without CGI.
