Synopsis
GAIG is able to tie the deck he is using to different aspects of his psyche or body in order to indirectly train them when he uses his deck to practice magic.
Ideas
When he does push ups, he is actually practicing his "Double Lift". When he jogs, he is practicing his "Classic Force". Pulls ups perfect his "Top Change".
This can apply to anything, not only to playing cards. You would see people very buffed walking on the street, you wouldn't think they are no-brainers - quite the opposite! You would acknowledge the fact that they are probably masters of their craft BUT, they have not achieved this through actual training with their craft BUT through the use of interconnected development.
Comedic
if the person wants to indirectly train his ability, he must use the weapons of his craft when performing different workout activities. Always punching with a deck of cards in hand. If doing push ups, then you must have a number of decks on your back. If doing pull ups the bar must be made from metal playing cards.
Obviously, you can replace "deck of cards" with anything (violin, brush, lego).
Questions
1. What would you train in this way?
2. How do the exercises get assigned between the mental and the psychical?
3. How do you think these buffed and intelligent people would look like?
4. Would this type of training be considered cheating?
I was thinking, what if instead of increasing your skillz you use this ability to decrease someone elses skillz. How would that work? Also, how could you use this so your dog would increase their abilities? Or any other animal?
Or use this to inflict pain on other people. So, for example, when you would be playing the violin, people would not feel the soothing embrace of a song but would rather feel the cutting sensation of a knife. And soon, you would see each person listening to the song bleed from their ears or actually have limbs cut out. Would work well as an artsy horror film. What do you think?
